Whats Happening?
Every year, Captain Lee Blick returns to St Petersburg, Florida to take part in the Mercury Grand Slam Celebrity fishing Tournament that benefits the Pediatric Cancer Foundation. Capt. Blick donates his time, and boat for the weekend of fishing. This year he was honored to sponsor a 15 year old, 2 time cancer SURVIVOR. Fishing with Captain Lee Blick was "The thrill of a lifetime", said Billy. Billy, along with his Mom and Dad will be forever grateful to Capt. Blick for allowing Billy to 'forget about cancer, and live a little'.
The Photo to the left is that of Billy and his 30" Snook caught during the weekend of fishing! Billy caught his 1st 'Slam', which consisted of a 30" snook, a 20" trout, and a 16" redfish. Captain Blick has fished Tampa Bay all his life, and he certainly knew where the fish were!!
